Cause
Bordetella Petrusis
It is gram negative and cocco bacillus
It is transmitted by Droplet Infection.
Incubation period - 1-4 week
1st week is highly infected catarrhal infection

Mild fever

Catarrhal Stage
Onset of fever
Cold, dry hacking irritating cough

Mouth open with saliva drooping
