Corn is a popular painless lesion in the plantar surface of the foot.

It is affected the plantar surface of toes and soles of the feet.

Corn develops due to intermittent pressure over a limited area.

Basically it is a localised hyperkeratinisation of skin with a hard central core.

It will be a CONE  shaped lesion with a broad surface and narrow at deep plane.

They are painful and very tender.

Most of these are hard corns.

Soft corn can occur in between the toes.
